If you have a bleeding heart and love killing yourself for an income, dialysis is perfect for you. Constant low staff and not due to regular health are stuff. Failing to be quick to place ads for nurses and techs months later, endless policy that makes no sense. I wanted to love my clinic. Gave it 12 years. Crashed and burned after years of complaints falling on deaf ears. Management unable to be gotten ahold of. Begging for 75 cent raise after 3 years. I am sad to say I can't wait to be done.

Made me go back to school for a completely different field of work. They sucked the life out of me. Pros Hours, patients, coworkers that actually work. Cons Almost all of it. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Would not recommend to work here. On top of that, your raises are like 0. Also the nurses just sit down and do not do anything. The place is run by people who got their because a friend of a friend or because mom and dad work there. Jobs at DaVita. Patient Resources Representative Level I.

Revenue Specialist I. Divisional Vice President. Clinical Research Manager. Ready to work your fingers a soul to the bone to be abused!? Sign up. No life home balance. And 16 hour days while staff is allowed to make the schedule while others ONLY work 16 hour days even after having a plate and screws in your wrist.

Cons Working here. Working in the human resources department is unfortunate as it is clear that leaders within the department are not entirely competent and seem more concerned with their own career advancement than actually achieving results or nurturing strong teams. Dissatifaction among employees is rampant and I do believe the lack of leadership and constant promoting from outside are a large part of this.

Pros Flexibility. Cons Understaffed, no career opportunities for non-managers. Productive, rewarding, and definitely a learning opportunity Social Worker Current Employee - Florida - October 18, I've definitely learned a lot that I did not know before about healthcare and dialysis.

At Davita, training is thorough, about 4 weeks of training and shadowing which is more than most companies. Management varies by location, but so far, my managers have been amazing, supportive, flexible, knowledgeable and understanding. The culture is very centered on ensuring teammates feel like they belong and it feels welcoming. They have several trainings on inclusion and diversity. The most enjoyable part of my job are the patients and teammates, I enjoy talking to them and helping when I can.

The hardest part of my job definitely has to be documentation as I don't particularly enjoy documentation. The good thing about Davita and documentation, is it's very direct and self-explanatory and management can help with deadlines.

Pros Flexibility, healthcare, benefits, Pto. The travel part of this job is the best part. It allows you to see the grass being greener in other locations. Float is definitely the best option….. Pros Lunches provided at times. TTS short days. Cons Poor Management. Long days MWF. Work life balance can be hard working in acutes.

Was told when I was hired I would only have to be on call times a month, but ended up having an on call shift every week. They do not pay their Dialysis Techs enough. For the amount of work that a tech does the compensation could be and should be better. Hopefully in the future they will change it. Love working here. It really is an awesome place.

Management goes above and beyond for employees. Made me go back to school for a completely different field of work. They sucked the life out of me. Pros Hours, patients, coworkers that actually work.

It is very stressful. Other than that the company gives free lunch sometimes. Pros Free lunch, learning. Cons Long hours. DaVita's motto is "Community first; Company Second" and for the most part they are true to this. The company as a whole has gone a long way to promote inclusivity and belonging in the culture. Sadly the pay is low for IT, but the benefits and time off accrual are decent. There's a lot to do, and a lot of opportunity to learn if you take advantage of the opportunities.

Pros Strong culture, and strong sense of belonging. Cons Engineer pay could use a hike across the board. Very long days. Misleading pay raises. Days can be anywhere from hrs or more with mandatory OT. PTO will often get denied due to short staffing. Good luck getting your pay raises even after certification. Pros Great training. Good place for just starting out in dialysis. Cons Long days. Never knowing when your day will end.

It was good when I was in training. I had no family life, social life, I was physically over worked to the point where I had a mental break down. The people who talked back and gave management problems were the ones who got compensated for staying an extra 3 hours while the others who actually cared about patients got nothing, not even a thank you from management.

Pros Always overtime. Cons Horrible management and some bad staff. Claimed Profile. Want to know more about working here? Ask a question about working or interviewing at DaVita.
