Not one mention of our 50th anniversary. Not sure what happened. Big disconnect. Food took two hours to come out of the kitchen. She kept asking. Got apologizes from staff but no results. Finally our food came out, literally two plates at a time. Everything came out at different times.

It was a Birthday celebration gone bad. No compensation offered. No free dessert. They knew we were dissatisfied, so they gave themselves an 18 percent. The place has changed dramatically from before. Run and managed terribly. I will never go back FYI. I live down the street and I frequent the restaurant twice a month. They know my face. They know my family. I bet the place will close down soon. Ago has always been one of my favorite restaurants in LA.

However, this past experience was not a good one. I ordered the rack of lamb which was mostly fat. It had been seared quickly on a flt top stove. The sauteed spinach on the side was bitter. I would have mentioned something to the waiter but the only person who came by was the busboy who was more interested in selling us another bottle of sparking water.

It's a shame, because for years, they have produced consistently good food and service. Outstanding attention to detail. A wonderful dining experience. Thank you to everyone involved at Ago. Fantastic food. Eric, our waiter was professional and very friendly. Fantastic atmosphere food and service we will definitely back thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Always consistent. Highly recommend. Been going here since opened - 20 years. Classic and always consistently Yummy for drinks ,appetizers,dinner and deserts!

Dinner for 3 at Ago was better than real good, but not quite great. Very rude waiter. Food was fine but did not fit the description on the menu. Signs not clear that the car park was operated by independent valet service therefore no parking validation.

Overall really bad. I'm surprised they ever get any repeat custom. Excellent service excellent food our waiter Eric was impeccable. We were nicely greeted when we arrived. When we were seated it was a very small table for four. We asked for this other round table which was larger. The manager had refused us. His reason was it was a table for 7 people and it was reserved. There was four place settings at the time. In the end The food was good but not exceptional so not deserving of five stars.
