Functions as a member of a work team to coordinate mental health interventions with other members, providing internal and external consultation and case management for assigned clients as needed.

Performs complete and accurate client intake evaluations including diagnoses. Prepares intake and accurate assessments, treatment plans, crisis plans and progress notes, concurrent reviews, discharge summaries and completes necessary reports and correspondence related to client care.

Provides clinical service to clients to include adult, child, group and family therapy, support services to foster and adoptive care givers. Provides clinical case management services. Implements mental health interventions consistent with team consultation and treatment plan goals. Develops and conducts community outreach programs directed at children and families.

Provides consultation and training to colleagues and other staff regarding family dynamics, play therapy and case status as it relates to total case planning. Attends team meetings, psychiatric consultation and individual supervision and other program meetings. Assists clinical manager in the overall development and planning of the BHP. Collaborates effectively with schools and other child-serving systems. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities, and may include driving.
