Maine Coon Rescue is a Nationwide c3 animal rescue with locations spread out across the continental US, with main concentration in the mid-atlantic and southeast US.
Our mission is: To rescue abused, abandoned, surrendered and homeless Maine Coon MC cats, whether registered or not. To act as liaison between shelters, animal control and disaster agencies nationwide.
To provide carefully screened foster homes prior to re-homing. To assist in assuring that they are placed in carefully screened forever homes. To educate potential adopters about the breed. To alert breeders that a cat from their cattery may need help. They require minimal grooming thanks to their light undercoat and their coat is thicker during wintertime.
Their fur is water resistant and their paws are big to facilitate walking in the snow. They are very vocal and have a fascination for water. Kittens are raised in our home and have a nursery filled with a variety of toys, beds, climbing trees. Our cats live in the house as part of our family and are very special to us. They have the run of the house, and sleep on our beds. They are always around, chatting to us, sharing our chores, and warming our laps. We are a small boutique breeder located in Northeast Ohio. The parents of our kittens are in our home as cherished members of our family. How They Describe Themselves: We have a small maine coon breeding program. All of our kittens are purebred, pedigreed, registered maine coons.
