In her 27 years of county service, Martha has worked on many initiatives to help people; by far the most rewarding is helping place people in jobs. She is a dedicated leader, and her passion is to advance equitable opportunities for youth and young adults in workforce.

Maritza has extensive experience developing and operationalizing innovative, results-focused, and partnership-driven programs and initiatives. Proud to work with a dynamic, passionate team that serves the community with compassion and care.

Our team is here to empower, encourage and create community engagement opportunities, all are welcome! She enjoys music and road trips. Stephanie began her career with the County over 30 years ago as a Professional Student Worker while attending college. She has a wide breadth of experience working in various County departments including but not limited to the Department of Ombudsman, and the Chief Administrative Office.

In her spare time Stephanie enjoys reading, walking the family, and gardening. Her team works closely with every program in the department. Carol previously worked at the District Attorney, Probation, and Health Services departments developing programs and contracts for those departments.

With over 20 years of County service, Alfred spent the last 11 years in WDACS in a management capacity in areas of data management and finances.

For individuals who are home bound, in-home consultation is available. For more information and services, visit www. Traditional Legal Assistance is provided to individuals 60 years of age and older with economic or social needs.

This valuable service is provided by a member of the California State Bar or a non-attorney supervised by a member. Other services include consultation at senior center sites, in-home consultations with individuals confined to the home, and monthly community legal education seminars at selected sites. This program provides support to unpaid caregivers caring for elderly relatives, or to older caregivers of younger family members. The purpose of the program is to help minimize the negative emotional, physical, and financial consequences of unpaid family caregiving.

Click here to learn more. The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program provides local advocacy services arising out of complaints and concerns of residents in skilled nursing and licensed board and care facilities.

This valuable program provides the quality of life for our elderly residents in out-of-home care facilities and serves as a mediator for residents and families.

For more information or services, call WISE or The New Freedom program provides transportation and mobility management services, sensitive to the needs of seniors and adults with disabilities, to enhance quality of life, maintain independence, and improve their overall health and well-being.

As more Los Angeles County residents grow older, the independence of owning a vehicle becomes less possible and more dangerous. Los Angeles County and L. Los Angeles County is proud to partner with Project Lifesaver to help locate a loved one who goes missing, in addition to providing resources for community support services.

Through LA Found, we can provide a Project Lifesaver tracking bracelet at no cost to at-risk individuals. The Linkages Program provides comprehensive care management that serves and links older individuals with a full range of appropriate services.

The goal of the program is to prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization of at risk individuals by promoting and maintaining independent living for frail older adults, adults with disabilities, and residents of residential care facilities who are scheduled to be discharged within 30 to 60 days from the date of the referral.
