Joey enjoys spending time with his family, surfing and most outdoor activities. He is committed to his job, his community and his family. Jeff has been in landscaping for nearly a decade and brings a robust toolkit of knowledge as well as excitement to all outdoor projects.
He began his career after earning an international business degree with a minor in Spanish from UNCW. His entree into the industry began with a boutique firm whose high-end clients provided opportunity to install elaborate and eloquent landscaping designs. Jeff understands the key elements and focal points of landscapes and how lighting can dramatically enhance outdoor settings.
He thrives on the joy a finished project brings for his clients and friends. After years of collaborating with George and Outdoor Illumination, Jeff joined the team in early The culture is a perfect fit.
He enjoys cooking, listening to live music and playing tennis. Jane Cockrell has been with Outdoor Illumination since the birth of the company. With a background in corporate America, she brings her many business tools to the table. Her head of Marketing and Administrative Assistant, Alex Meyer, is a fellow equestrian with a business degree from St. Andrews University. These two work together to make sure the design goes from paper to the guys for install without a hitch.
Doug Piccolo is our Installation Manager. He has been in the landscape design and installation industry for over 20 years. He joined us in January of and has been a great addition to the team. You will most likely get to meet him on our new installations, as well as assisting with additions and services.
Doug is also a proud father, avid fisherman, and conservationist. Colby joins the team as lead technician at Outdoor Illumination and brings many skills and experience with him. He credits growing up on a farm as enabling him a wide variety of skills and experience he uses to this day.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, is an avid outdoors man, a dirt track sprint driver, and also designs and builds unique landscaping and carpentry items.
